Kluber records double-digit strikeouts in 3rd straight game

Klubot is on quite the roll.

The Cleveland Indians ace continued his masterful stretch on Saturday against the Minnesota Twins, combining to a season high 13 strikeouts in seven innings.

With the performance, and for the second time in his impressive career, Corey Kluber has amassed double-digit strikeouts in his third straight start.

Kluber can tie former Indians starter Bob Feller, who holds the team record with four straight starts of 10 or more strikeouts, according to Jordan Bastian of MLB.com.

The 31-year-old missed most of May with a back injury but hasn’t missed a beat since returning on June 1. In five starts since then, Kluber has struck out 52 batters, walked only six, and has limited opposing batters to a .157 batting average.
