RP Zach Britton, Baltimore Orioles – Britton has pitched three scoreless innings in his first three rehab appearances. Britton moved up to Double-A Monday and allowed one run on two hits in an inning. He is scheduled to return July 5.
2B Starlin Castro, New York Yankees – Castro left Monday’s game with a strained hamstring. Castro will have an MRI Tuesday before a DL decision is made.
3B Matt Chapman, Oakland A’s – Chapman is on the 10-day DL with a left knee infection.
OF Aaron Hicks, New York Yankees – Hicks was placed on the DL with a right oblique injury and is expected to miss 3-4 weeks.
SP Hisashi Iwakuma, Seattle Mariners – Iwakuma has no timetable for his next rehab start.
SP Dallas Keuchel, Houston Astros – Keuchel has started throwing from 120 feet. Manager A.J. Hinch thinks Keuchel will be back after the All-Star break.
SP Charlie Morton, Houston Astros – Morton, who has been out with a lat injury, threw 36 pitches over two innings in his first rehab start. He will pitch three or four innings in his next rehab start Tuesday.
2B Chad Pinder, Oakland A’s – Pinder was placed on the DL with a left hamstring strain.
SP Martin Perez, Texas Rangers – Perez is on the DL with a right thumb fracture.
1B Hanley Ramirez, Boston Red Sox – He is day-to-day with a sore left knee.
OF Colby Rasmus, Tampa Bay Rays – Rasmus was placed on the DL with left hip tendinitis.
SP Carlos Rodon, Chicago White Sox – Rodon will make his season debut Wednesday against the Yankees. He had a 17:9 K:BB ratio in 17 innings and a 10.06 ERA in his rehab games.
SP Eduardo Rodriguez, Boston Red Sox – He will begin a rehab assignment Thursday.
SP Aaron Sanchez, Toronto Blue Jays – Sanchez (blister) will make a rehab start Tuesday and is expected to need two starts before coming back to Toronto.
SS Marcus Semien, Oakland A’s – Semien began his rehab assignment and is getting close to a return.
SP Matt Shoemaker, Los Angeles Angels – Shoemaker is on the 10-day DL with a right forearm strain. He was hoping to pitch over the weekend, but wasn’t cleared. He has been cleared to resume throwing.
SP Drew Smyly, Seattle Mariners – Smyly threw 50 pitches in a simulated inning Friday and is slated two throw two simulated innings Wednesday.
SP Tyler Anderson, Colorado Rockies – Anderson is back on the DL with left knee inflammation, the same injury he just came off the DL from. He missed three weeks the first time.
SP Madison Bumgarner, San Francisco Giants – He threw three scoreless innings in his first minor league appearance in Rookie ball. He allowed no hits and reportedly was throwing 88-91 miles per hour. He will make a Triple-A rehab start Friday and is expected to return in late July.
C Francisco Cervelli, Pittsburgh Pirates – Cervelli was placed on the 7-day concussion DL.
OF Michael Conforto, New York Mets – Conforto was hit on the wrist with a pitch Sunday and X-rays were negative. He has a contusion and is day-to-day.
SP Brandon Finnegan, St. Louis Cardinals – Finnegan returned from the DL Monday and left early with a left triceps strain. He missed 10 weeks with a strained trapezius muscle.
OF Dexter Fowler, St. Louis Cardinals
Fowler was placed on the 10-day DL with a right heel spur.
1B Freddie Freeman, Atlanta Braves – Freeman took grounders at third base last week and has been cleared to take dry swings. There is talk Freeman could play third base when he returns. He could return in July.
OF Carlos Gonzalez, Colorado Rockies – Gonzalez was placed on the DL with a right shoulder strain.
OF Jason Heyward, Chicago Cubs – Heyward is out with a left hand abrasion and took light swings Monday. He’s eligible to return Thursday.
SP Jonathan Gray, Colorado Rockies – Gray will return to the Rockies over the weekend.
OF Manuel Margot, San Diego Padres – Margot is 3-for-20 (.150) during his minor league rehab from a strained calf and is expected to be activated from the DL Tuesday.
SP Brandon McCarthy, Los Angeles Dodgers – McCarthy is on the DL with right knee tendinitis.
3B Eduardo Nunez, San Francisco Giants – Nunez is out with a strained left hamstring and started taking grounders. He could return when first eligible Friday.
OF A.J. Pollock, Arizona Diamondbacks – Pollock resumed his rehab assignment after being shut down with a quad injury. He went 0-for-2 with a run and walk Sunday. He played four innings in center field and could return this week.
SS Corey Seager, Los Angeles Dodgers – He has missed three straight games with a hamstring injury. He might miss a few more days, but he’s expected to avoid the DL for now. He did some light running in the outfield Monday.
2B Yangervis Solarte, San Diego Padres – Solarte is on the DL with a left oblique strain.
2B Kolten Wong, St. Louis Cardinals – Wong could be activated by the weekend. He is set to begin a rehab assignment in the middle of the week.
