Correa ‘didn’t have a Plan B’ for proposal

This Carlos Correa character has some serious moxie. That’s a good trait for a professional athlete on the highest stage, but also, perhaps, for a husband-to-be.

After the Houston Astros finished their 5-1 conquest of the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 7 of a thrilling World Series, an emboldened Correa called his shot. On the field, he proposed to girlfriend Daniella Rodriguez.

It’s a good thing the Astros pulled it off, too, since he didn’t have a backup plan for the proposal if things went the other way:

Good thing they brought the lumber because who knows when Correa would’ve popped the question otherwise.
